June 9, 2010 it was The Hong Kong Polytechnic University fashion show. Like New York’s Parsons School of Design, PolyU is Hong Kong’s top fashion school. Vivienne Tam also graduated from this fashion school. This year is my 2nd year watching the fashion show, in contrast I thought last year’s show had more commercial pieces but this year there were lots of very conceptual and creative work. My most memorable collection was RED, it had a great touch of oriental red colors but used very modern and luxurious materials.
