I am sure all of you feels the same way as I do for Japan’s devastating earthquake and tsunami disaster. The earthquake has already happened for almost 1 week and yet the situation is getting worser and worser. The people there are 100 times more scared and frighten than us. Especially with the nuclear pollution situation.
I had once lived in Japan for a year, as an exchange student. The people there were very friendly and well mannered. Their positive attitude towards obstacles and passion to make every detail perfect had changed my point view in seeing things.
It seemed not long ago when I lived with my home stays and went to school with my friends in Japan. They were very supportive and caring while I was far away from my home. It felted like I was a part of their family and we are still in close contact. But knowing that they are in danger just breaks my heart, I don’t know how I can help them:( All I can do is pray for them and everyone in Japan.
I want to share these old Nippon Vouge editorial with you guys.
The title for this editorial was: “Strangers To This Land (Japan)”
Japan is in great danger now, we are NO strangers to them. Every moment someone is suffering physically and mentally. Its time for us to act NOW as a one LARGE family from all over the world.
