Fashion Editors are key inspiration that brings fashion to the masses. They are the ones who determine what are hits and misses. So when a brand collaborates with people who have the eye for fashion trends, the up and coming labels and stretching the limits of creativity. It’s pretty obvious the item will be a HIT!!! I do hope I will have a chance to collab with different brands too.
Grace Lam, Senior Fashion Style Editor at Vogue China, asked us to feature her design for Matahari. The moment I saw her “Grace Mini”, I fell in love with the yellow suede/gray leather/mint suede style. The mini handbag is classy, fun and functional. For this project I worked with Daniel from White Renasissnace, he is an amazing photographer. I had a fun time working with him while we shared similar ideas and views.
Tips: If you have statement color clutch, try to wear monotones to bring out the colors of the clutch. I like to mix mint colors with silver accessories. Always consider your nail colors when holding a clutch.

“I wanted a smaller sized bag which could be used 2 ways, as a clutch and as a mini handbag.
I am a very practical person so I wanted to design a bag that could be easy to use, non fussy,
space saving, and unpretentious, but above all super cute to carry as well!” – Grace Lam
Stay tuned for my second outfit for Grace Mini:)
