Prints such as 60’s inspired wallpaper are all over the runway! That’s why vintage/thrift shops are the best place to pick out a one of a kind 60’s inspired print this autumn to avoid any twin prints. Originally, this dress I am wearing was a knee long boring dress, but it had a great collar and print which I really liked. The tricky part is how to wear vintage pieces in a modern way? All you need to do is fix the proportion and add a personal touch then it will have a huge difference. In this outfit, I reinvented the one piece to a two piece set with a vintage gold collar. To style it up, I matched it with a pair of modern chic white heels with ankle straps by STACCATO to bring out a classy side.
Tips on 60’s print: try to wear something clean to balance out the print. for example a nice pair of heels, blazer, vest or cardigan will create a classy look.
