H&M’s own design team puts together an affordable runway wardrobe for us this Autumn 2013. Clothes that go down the runway generally cost a fortune, especially when it’s presented on the catwalk at Paris Fashion Week. The mixed materials of silk, velvet, wool, cotton, jersey, leather and faux fur creates a dramatic sight in the runway looks. I noticed the quality of this collection is finer compared to other lines. That’s why I have taken a few close up shots on the details and fabrics rather than the whole look. As you can see, each runway look had a great balance between tailoring with glamour ( a softness) which was very interesting. Utility inspired high boots, tailored pieces and traditional cut bottoms with delicate pieces are well balanced for H&M Autumn’s Tomboy Spirit. I personally love the sequin and fringing highlights from this collection, it can be worn with any outfit. If you extend this collection to your wardrobe, the pieces by itself has great potentials to be worn several times when you blend it in with your personal style. Not to miss, the vintage inspired chain bag, tassel belt and statement necklace is simply a fresh and fun twist to accessorize any look.
