think pink and wear pink

Will “pink is the new black “trend extend to SS 14? It’s nice to see so much pink happening in the winter time, too bad I am not a fan of pink color. But be ready for more pink this SS14, from beauty to stationeries like Paul Smith’s red packets. Also, it’s almost Valentines Day, indeed there will be lots of pink going on. If you are like me ( not a huge pink fan), try to discover another way to incorporate pink into your style. My first thoughts were pink accessories or beauty items for first timers to try on pink. A pale rose lip, pink nails or a pair of dazzling heels might give your total look a pop of pink without overtaking your style for SS14.

Some of my pink picks are Rupert Sanderson Peony heels, Tiffany sunglasses and NARS Final Cut Collection for Spring 2014. The pink shades are very modern and it won’t make you look ” cutey cutey”. I really like the Villa Lante Satin Lip Color ( you can on my lips) and Adelaide Illuminator ( for liquid application with a nice shimmer glow).

Here is a close up of my nails with pink and gold design. It’s better to add a silver strap to separate the color blocking on the design and also try pale tones such as bubble gum, rose or blush nail colors this season.

ENCOURAGE: Pink lips or Pink nails? pick one and give it a shot, if it doesn’t work, at least you know pink isn’t your beautiful color. Then you can move on to pink shoes or other small accessories.
