50’s and 60’s are forever on top of my list of inspirations and there is no way Michael Kor’s SS15 runway collection can slip out of my sight. A mixture of menswear over sized shirts ( similar options) styled with midi skirts and flats were Michael Kor’s approach of 50’s casual elegances. In my opinion, the cheerful delicate floral was the strongest out of the collection. The 3D floral embellishment skirts created a contrast of great craftsmanship with a laid back vibe, which made it wearable without look too over the top. This is definitely a trend we can try this Spring/ Summer too!

Styling Tips: Let the embellished shine itself, there is not need for other accessories for this look ( maybe a neutral bag and belt). If you are scared the skirt will make you look short, I suggest a pair of pointy pumps to add extra height. For this color combination, I would suggest silver ones ( similar options).
