Good luck charm in 2017

Luck appears to be on your side when you believe it’s in you. It’s my first time joining  LONGINES International Jockeys’ Championship and I had a blast. It wasn’t about winning or loosing, I enjoyed it as a fun evening where everyone around you believed in their own choice of horsemen to cheer for them. That already makes me feel lucky to beside Lucas for a fun evening ! Looking down at the race track from the balcony was delightful as I can see every horsemen’s strategic plan to how to make it to the finishing as first.  Just before the event, I tailored made my headpiece with artist-designer Gloria Yip to go along with Melissa Bui’s Hebridean skirt. I aimed for a modern clean chic look that evening, whereI felt comfortable yet elegant.

Styling Tips on wearing headpieces without clumsy: Let your headpiece stand out in colour instead of the volume of it . For this look, I purposely selected a pink material for a playful touch. Gloria was very supportive to encourage me to pick whatever material that felt like “me”, instead of just following any trends or colour combination. As for clothes, I would suggest either or a plain top with detailed skirt or detailed top with plain skirt. Lastly a small clutch and simple jewellery to finish off the total look. Here, I am carrying Jimmy Choo’s clutch accessories with Longines DolceVita watch.
